When it comes to healing acne, if the standard products and medications aren’t working for you, it’s time to dig deeper.

The heart of acne, the root cause, is often linked to systemic inflammation and hormonal issues. To heal acne, we need to get to the bottom of what is causing these problems for you.

If you often eat sugary, processed or fast food, if you eat a lot of breads, pastas, cereals, or dairy, if your diet lacks the antioxidants from fruits and vegetables, then it’s likely what you eat is the current main contributor to your acne problem.

A lot of acne problems can be traced to inflammation, not just in the skin, but throughout the body. Food can contribute to this process if your diet is high in sugar, trans fats, fried foods, or if you eat large amounts of the foods that have shown a link to acne, namely dairy, possibly gluten and peanut products.

Eating should not be stressful, confusing, or exhausting, and it shouldn’t be turned into an acne treatment. I believe it is just as important to enjoy your food as it is to eat nutritiously. That is why I created the Easy Eating For Clear Skin guide. I want to help you understand that healthy eating can help with acne, but it doesn’t have to be complicated, or boring. This tool will throw “rules” out the window and help you fit healthy eating into your life. The best thing about this guide? It’s already in your inbox! (If you don’t see it, make sure to check your junk mail or other folders!)
